Hi I am Oksana Pali, an award winning portrait photographer. I've been specializing in photographing women since 2008.
While I absolutely love my job there is a limit to how many people I can help with my in-person photo shoots. I also want to help women who cannot afford a professional photoshoot yet or need to create great content between their pro photoshoots.
The idea for this course was born when I myself was in bind. A magazine was publishing an article about me and they needed my current headshot. Ironically I didn't have a good one of me and they needed it the same day! I also had to hold my camera in my hands (image you see next).
What's a girl to do?
I grabbed my iPhone and took a shot at it. I didn't use my fancy lighting either. But what I did do was apply my knowledge of how lighting works, how to pose, what to wear, how to do my makeup, etc... and to my surprise the image came out good enough to send to the magazine!
Since then I have been taking photos of myself primarily with my iPhone using the technics I will teach you in my course.
Using my iphone gave me the freedom to create content more often and my personal branding skyrocketed beyond my expectations..
I was able to grow my Instagram account to 44k followers and my TikTok account to 27.4k within months.
